Mr. Damiter was my homeroom teacher the first year he came to Long Valley Middle School 40 years ago. I have never had a teacher I loved and remember like I do of Mr. Damiter. Over the years he has been in many a fine memory. I see someone posted his tomato joke, I still tell that joke to this day! I am proud to say that I had, at one time, the best teacher a student can have, and he made a profound meaning in my life. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends . Godspeed Mr. Damiter, you will never be forgotten.
